HST Test is a post temper process, aiming to reduce the risks of spontaneous breakage of the glass panes can occur during production process. It is to put tempered glass in Heat Soaking chamber, heated again but at temperature di 290°C for several hours.
HST leads to the breaking of the sheets which present great risks of spontaneous fracture, guaranteeing the passing of the test only to the glasses which present residual risks.
Regulated by the UNI EN 14179 standard, it is a mandatory test for sheets intended for building facades.
Testing is important for the safety and longevity of the glass.
VEUR provides this test at the request of his customers, and recommends it in all risks situations, ensuring safety and endurance of its products.
